Definition of a form

| Objective |
|
Define the properties of a data of Number type. This type of data is used
for the entry of numbers, whole or with decimals, that can vary from 0 to 9 999 999,99. |

| Sequence number of data |
Number setting the
order of presentation of the data in the table displayed at the bottom of
the section page. It is required. |
| Name of data |
Name identifying
the data (its title). It is required. |
| Display name |
Font style and height in pixels of the display name :
- font style : <None>, Normal, Bold, Italic,
Bold Italic
- font size : <Default>, 8, ..., 72 pixels |
| Data layout |
Position,
dimension and alignment of the data name and the data. See the Section
screen. |
| Format |
Choice of format desired for the number:
- Whole (default)
- 1 decimal
- 2 decimals
The format cannot be modified for less precision when the data is completed
in any student's form.

| Value interval |
Interval of values used to limit the numbers that it will be possible to
enter in the form.
Both or only one of the boundaries can be specified. If both boundaries are
completed, the upper boundary must be equal to or greater than the lower
boundary.
When supplied, the values in the interval must be compatible with the
number's Format.

| Edition mode |
Selection of the type of object used in the form for the entry of the
number:
- Entry-field zone (default)
- Pulldown menu
The
Pulldown menu mode can only be selected if a Value interval is
indicated (with both boundaries completed and not containing more than 255
characters) and if the Format indicated is Whole.

| Number of repetitions |
Number of entry zones to be placed in the form for the data (1 to 255, by
default 1). It is required.
The number of repetitions cannot be decreased if the data is already
completed in at least one student's form in a number of repetitions greater
than the number entered.

| Repetitions layout |
When the entry zone is repeated, this option indicates how to dispose the
repetitions in the form:
- Horizontally
- Vertically
|
| Default value |
Value displayed by default when the student form is created.
If specified, the value must be compatible with the number's Format.
If it is specified and a Value interval is indicated, the default
value must be included in the interval.
|
| Required data |
Option indicating
if the data has to be completed when creating a student form (box not
checked by default). |
| Note permitted |
Option allowing
the possibility of attaching a note to the data when creating a student
form (box not checked by default). When the note is permitted, the 
icon is displayed to the right of the data in the form.
The box cannot be unchecked if a note is already attached to the data in
at least one student's form.

| Confidential data |
Option indicating
if the data is confidential or accessible to all (box not checked by
default). A confidential data will only be visible to, and modifiable by, the form's authors. It is identified by a red frame. |
Context-sensitive help
|
Context-sensitive
help relating to the data. The 
icon displays the
Extended
editing screen used to complete the text in a larger area. It will
be possible for the form's users to consult the text by using the 
icon. |
| Field limit |
Option to choose the desired delimiter for the data when printing the form:
- <None>
- Framed
- Underline |

The lower part of the page
shows a preview of the layout of the data placed in the section. |
| Actions |

| Save |
The Save command records the changes entered on screen in the database. |
| Undo |
The Undo
command cancels the changes entered in the page. |
